Description
L'Image du monde, an encyclopedia in French verse by Gossuin de Metz, is on folio 1r-57v. The animal descriptions are in the section on the regions and geography of the world; none are illustrated.
The Fables or Marie de France are on folio 58r-92r. The fables are based on Aesop's Fables. Some of them are about animals, and those are usually illustrated with colored drawings.
