Sawfish

The sawfish has wings and likes to fly into the air to race with ships. This one has webbed feet, a bird-like head and magnificent wings. There is a sailor hiding under a canopy in the peculiar ship. There appears to be water (or perhaps air) coming out of the beast's mouth. The ship is very similar to the ones shown in the siren (folio 21r) and whale (folio 42v) illustrations.
